How is an Accovod profile different from an incognito tab?

Section titled “How is an Accovod profile different from an incognito tab?”

Incognito only hides history from you; the site still sees your IP and device fingerprint. An Accovod profile is a separate “device”: its own storage, proxy, language, timezone and fingerprint. See What is Accovod.

Unlimited in local groups. In cloud groups, it depends on your plan. Your account page shows the current limit, and Accovod warns you before you go over it.

On macOS, WebKit — the same as Safari. That’s why Safari is the recommended browser for profiles there: the engine behaves exactly like what the profile claims to be.

On Windows, Chrome or Edge (Beta) — chosen when the profile is created.

Chrome for most tasks. Edge when a site requires Edge specifically or misbehaves in a Chrome profile. A profile’s engine can’t be changed later, so create a separate profile to try it.

Section titled “Can I repeat actions in several profiles at once?”

On Windows, yes — with the Synchronizer. Both systems have Automator, which can run in every profile of a group.

Pages stop loading. Accovod doesn’t fall back to your real IP, so the account isn’t exposed.

A JSON array — what Cookie-Editor exports. See Cookies and logging in.

Turn on Only Active in Settings: only the open profile stays loaded. Windows also has the in-between Load When Selected mode. Block Images and, on Windows, Block Video help too.

A site looks broken or a button doesn’t work.

Section titled “A site looks broken or a button doesn’t work.”

Try V3 More Native and reload the page; on macOS, Recreate the profile. On Windows you can also create a profile on the other engine. If that doesn’t help, contact support and name the site.

Most likely another group is open. Click the group name above the list and switch. Also check collapsed folders.

Cloud groups appear on their own after you sign in. Local ones move with Groups → Export and Import on macOS, or by copying the cef\sessions folder on Windows. See Teamwork and migration.

Changes from my Mac don’t show up on the iPhone.

Section titled “Changes from my Mac don’t show up on the iPhone.”

The group has to be a cloud group. On the iPhone: Settings → Cloud → Sync current session. See Sessions and sync.

Section titled “How do I move my license to another computer?”

On your account page, click Rebind next to the license — it moves to the new computer right away.

Renew it on your account page with Renew. Your profile data is kept.
