Assist Browser — a floating window

Assist Browser is a small browser window that stays on top of Accovod. It’s a handy place for what you need while working with profiles: ChatGPT for copy, a translator, a spreadsheet with account data or a 2FA code generator.

It works the same on macOS and Windows.

Turning it on

Section titled “Turning it on”
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Turn on Assist Browser and click Save.

A round button appears. Click it to open the Assist Browser window. By default it loads chatgpt.com.

Controls

  • The gear in the window title — set the site Assist Browser opens.
  • Minus — collapse the window back into the button.

Assist Browser doesn’t belong to any profile: it’s a separate window with its own cookies. Don’t sign in to work accounts there — that’s what profiles are for.
