Sessions and sync with your Mac
Local and cloud sessions
Section titled “Local and cloud sessions”When you create a session (Sessions → +, or ••• at the end of the session strip), pick the type under Kind:
- Local — kept only on this iPhone.
- Cloud — synced through Accovod Cloud and available on the Mac (where it’s called a cloud group).
What syncs
Section titled “What syncs”For a cloud session, the cloud stores the profiles — name, site, proxy, language, timezone, fingerprint — and their cookies. So an account you logged in to on the Mac opens on the iPhone already logged in.
Switching sessions
Section titled “Switching sessions”On the Profiles tab, the session strip sits above the list. Tap a session to open its profiles. While a cloud session’s profiles load, its chip shows a spinner.
••• at the end of the strip creates a session or opens session management.
Forcing a sync
Section titled “Forcing a sync”The app syncs cloud sessions on its own. If changes from the Mac haven’t shown up yet, open Settings → Cloud → Sync current session.
Working on two devices
Section titled “Working on two devices”- Don’t open the same profile on the Mac and the iPhone at the same time. The site sees two sessions from different devices, and one device’s cookies overwrite the other’s.
- Finished on the Mac? Switch to another profile there or quit the app, then open the profile on the phone.
If something doesn’t sync
Section titled “If something doesn’t sync”- Check that the session is cloud, not local.
- Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Accovod account.
- Settings → Cloud → Sync current session.
- Still stuck? Settings → Diagnostics → Copy diagnostics and send the text to support.
