Proxy check and Fraud Score

Before logging in to an account, make sure the proxy works and looks clean. In the profile form, click the check mark next to the proxy address.

What the check shows

Accovod sends a real request through the proxy. A line appears next to the Proxy heading:

Connected: 203.0.113.10, Fraud 12/100, United States, America/New_York

Item	Meaning
IP	The address sites see.
Fraud	How suspicious the IP looks to anti-fraud systems. Lower is better.
Country	Where the IP is located.
Timezone	The timezone of that IP.

If the proxy doesn’t respond, the field turns red and the line shows Failed with the reason.

Reading the Fraud Score

Score	What it means
0–25	Clean IP. Fine for sign-ups and valuable accounts.
26–60	Medium risk. OK for routine work; for new accounts, find a cleaner IP.
61–100	The IP is often seen in spam or belongs to a datacenter. Expect CAPTCHAs, checks and blocks.

Datacenter proxies almost always score high. Residential and mobile proxies are usually cleaner.

Matching the profile to the location

Sites notice when IP country, timezone and browser language don’t match. After the check:

• Timezone. With Set Location on Proxy Check on in Settings, Accovod fills Timezone with the proxy’s timezone. With it off, pick the timezone the check suggests.
• Language. Use the proxy country’s language: en-US,en for the US, de-DE,de for Germany, pt-BR,pt for Brazil.

The Fingerprint ID in the form changes — that’s expected: the profile now looks like a device in another country.

Common errors

• Failed right away. Wrong format, a typo in the port, or the wrong type selected — HTTP instead of SOCKS5.
• Takes a while, then Failed. The proxy is unreachable, or the provider only allows whitelisted IPs.
• Not the country you bought. Ask your provider — some pick the location from parameters in the login.
